Forest's walkthrough:

Quests (Chapter 3)[]

Finding Chirb[]

Go to the right, you will see an owl. Interacting with it will make it draw a circle as a hint: You have to place 4 tiles Forest 1.png 1, Forest 2.png 2, Forest 3.png 3 and Forest 4.png 4 so that the river sections in 4 tiles connect, and make a circle. Chirb will spawn inside that circle. Note that you have to be inside the circle to interact with Chirb. Chirb will give you Forest 5.png 5 piece when you talk to him.

Finding the way out of the Forest[]

Pick up 2 pieces Forest 6.png 6 and Forest 7.png 7 at tile Forest 5.png 5, then talk to the Messengers there. Now you have to go into the Forest with 2 tiles Forest 6.png 6 and Forest 7.png 7 (the Ribbon tiles):

The ribbon means you should exit this way.

  • Go into one of the two Ribbon tiles. Pay attention to the tree with a ribbon, at one edge of the tile: That marks the way you should go. Place the other Ribbon tile so that you can exit the current tile to the other tile, through the marked direction. Repeat this step (5 times) until the fog is gone. You will see 2 pieces Forest 8.png 8 and Forest 9.png 9.

Go to tile Forest 8.png 8 and pick up pieces of Forest 10.png 10 and Forest 11.png 11. Now you need to go deeper into the Forest, with 2 tiles Forest 10.png 10 and Forest 11.png 11 (the Fallen Tree tiles):

  • Go into one of the two Fallen Tree tiles. Pay attention to the fallen tree at the middle: That tree points the direction you should go. Place the other Fallen Tree tile so that you can exit the current tile to the other tile, through the marked direction. Repeat this step (5 times) until the fog is gone. You will see 2 pieces Forest 12.png 12 and Forest 13.png 13.

Go to tile Forest 12.png 12 and pick up pieces of Forest 14.png 14 and Forest 15.png 15. Now you need to go even deeper into the Forest, with 2 tiles Forest 14.png 14 and Forest 15.png 15 (the Windy tiles):

  • Go into one of the Windy tiles. Pay attention to the way the trees are swaying to: That is the way you should go (the wind's direction). Place the other Windy tile so that you can exit the current tile to the other tile, through the wind's direction. Repeat this step (5 times) until the fog is gone. You will see the piece Forest 16.png 16. Go to tile Forest 16.png 16, and pick up the piece Forest 17.png 17, and a Grandmother's letter.

Navigating the Cave[]

Place 3 tiles Forest 9.png 9, Forest 13.png 13 and Forest 17.png 17 together so that the small paths in the tiles are connected. An entrance to the Cave will spawn at tile Forest 9 2.png 9. Go into the Cave.

Pick up the Wrigging Worm at tile Cave 3.png 3, then go to the plant stem at the same tile. You will go to the surface (tile Forest 18.png 18) and meet Chirb and his owl. Interacting with the owl will reveal that Chirb lost his sapling. Carto will then give the Ghost Lily to Chirb. After Chirb and his owl has departed, go back to the Cave to unlock 3 more pieces Cave 4.png 4, Cave 5.png 5 and Cave 6.png 6.

Go return the Worm into the tunnel entrance in Cave 2.png 2. Then connect all the Cave tiles so that the tunnel's paths are all connected. Go to Cave 5.png 5 to see the Worm breaking the boulder and retrieve the Worm. Then go to Cave 6.png 6, read the sign ("Don't give up!"), then go to the plant stem at Cave 3.png 3 to resurface at the Forest, unlock 9 tiles Forest 19.png 19, Forest 20.png 20, Forest 21.png 21, Forest 22.png 22, Forest 23.png 23, Forest 24.png 24, Forest 25.png 25, Forest 26.png 26, Forest 27.png 27.

Solving the runes[]

Look at 4 tiles Forest 19.png 19, Forest 21.png 21, Forest 22.png 22 and Forest 26.png 26, you will see they all have a broken stone at one corner. Place those 4 tiles so that the broken stones touch each other. It will reveal a stone with a unique symbol.

Now rearrange the 9 tiles so that the drawing combined resemble the unique symbol. The Watcher will appear in the middle of the symbol. Talking to him will trigger the cutscenes about him explaining to you the Forest, Watchers, Messengers,... and finally, the ritual of choosing the new Watcher. After then, he will show you the way out of the Forest, and give you Friend of the Forest Amulet. This is the end of Chapter 3.

Quests (Chapter 6-2)[]

Finding Chirb[]

When you got to the Forest, you will meet Ricad. He will tell you that Chirb as the new Watcher is missing. Go to the north east corner of the Mother Tree tile to get the piece Forest 29.png 29. Go to tile Forest 29.png 29 and you will meet Chirb there.

Removing the branches[]

After talking to Chirb, go to tile Forest 9 2.png 9 and interact with the tree. It will show that some branches are blocking the tree, and you need someone strong to remove the branches. Go talk to Cholmek's Bear at the bonfire (tile Forest 5.png 5) and he will help you remove the branches. Now you are back to the Cave.

Navigating the Cave[]

When you are inside the Cave, go to the hole in tile Cave 4.png 4 to go to the Underground.

Go pick up the torch at the tile Underground 4.png 4, then light up all the torches in the tiles and put back the torch to its place in tile Underground 4.png 4. Arrange the tiles so that they are connected, and: the tile with 1 torch is next to the tile with 2 torches, the tile with 2 torches is next to the 3-torches tile, the 3-torches tile is next to the 4-torches tile. The tile Underground 5.png 5 will appear. Jump into the hole in tile Underground 5.png 5 will send you to Volcano.

Quests (Chapters 10-2, 10-3 and 10-4)[]

Going to the treetop[]

After leaving the Chalet, you and Shianan will go to the Mother Tree. Chirb and other Messengers will be there and help you get to the treetop. When you are at the treetop, talk to Shianan and connect all the map pieces together. After the maps have been completed, the tree will grow above the clouds.

When you reached the clouds, open the map, and put the airship tile next to your tile. The airship will appear and you can meet your Grandma. This is the game's ending.

Secret[]

In Chapter 6-2, in tiles Forest 5.png 5, Forest 8.png 8, Forest 12.png 12 and Forest 16.png 16 there is a bird on one corner of each tile. Place the tiles together so that the 4 birds are close to each other. Go inspect the birds, they will drop a puzzle piece of the Airship.
